Why we have a new name
4 December 2018
Today we officially announce that Cambridge Bio-Augmentation Systems (CBAS) has become BIOS.
As we grow as a team, expand our capacity, and become increasingly global, we are looking to the future of our company and this new name more accurately reflects the incredibly exciting developments ahead of us.
We are bringing the first open standard neural interfaces into widespread use and have started to drive a global ecosystem of change in neural engineering. As we continue to accelerate and create the standards, datasets, tools, and algorithms for the future of neural interfaces, we are thrilled to have found a name that suits our company ethos and helps communicate the benefits and potential of our products and technology.
While we continue to focus on an ever deeper, higher fidelity and longer lasting integration between our bodies and machines; we invite you to start to use these tools to show us what can be done.
