WHAT WE OFFER
To attract the very best talent, BIOS believes that we need to take care of individuals and their families,
in key aspects of their modern lives:
SOLVE THE
HARD PROBLEMS
We’re all here to solve the biggest, most challenging, and most rewarding problems. No one else has done this before, and we’re choosing to be those people who do it.
ENJOY THE
CHALLENGE
We like to learn about new things. We enjoy debating and re-framing problems. We have fun together. We take our work seriously, but don’t take ourselves too seriously.
UNIQUE INDIVIDUALS
ONE TEAM
We know that we don’t have all of the answers as individuals, but someone on the team, or a combination of us, will. We also respect each other, appreciating our differences. We know each other not only as ‘engineers’ or ‘operations’, but as people.
RESPECT WHAT MATTERS, DO WHAT'S RIGHT
We put people first and develop for the patient. We understand the weight of the responsibility we’re undertaking and we feel the gravitas of the medical problems we’re tackling. We place safety above everything.

OUR INTERVIEW
PROCESS
This is very much a two-way process – a chance for you to find out about BIOS and the role, and for us to find out about you and your skills and experience. Here is an overview of our interview process:
INTRO CHAT
(We are able to offer interviews in-person or via Zoom)
A 30-minute call for us to get to know each other a bit and see if both parties think there is a good fit for the role.
CHALLENGE & PRESENTATION
Whether you are applying for a technical or non-technical position, we like to see your core capabilities first-hand. Every candidate is asked to complete and submit an at-home challenge after which you may be invited to meet with a group of us for an in-depth interview and a small group presentation (Usually 2-3 Hours).
MEET OUR CEO/FOUNDERS
Our founders interview everyone coming into the company at every level. If both sides feel there is a great fit and we are considering making you an offer, we will arrange for you to have a call or meeting with Oliver and Emil.
OFFER!
If it’s still all systems go, a written offer will be made. After that it’s just paperwork and agreeing a start date. We’ll be really excited to welcome you to the team by this point!
OUR INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
Each summer we offer a paid intern programme. These are designed to enable current students in relevant fields to translate their skills and expertise into an industry setting. Interns will have a dedicated supervisor and work on actual company projects designed to make the best use of their background and skills whilst developing their knowledge and experience. We will support all interns to produce a concrete output by the end of the internship which culminates in a presentation to the wider company.
Applications for our next summer internship programme will open in early 2024. Keep an eye on here for details.
